ISO 9001:2026 was published on 16 September 2026 and the transition period is three years, to September 2029. Confirm the exact date and audit arrangements with your certification body, because their accreditation rules set the final timetable.

How long does the transition take?

Most certified small and mid-sized companies can complete it in three to six months of part-time work, because the clause structure is unchanged. The plan template assumes 20 weeks and lets you stretch or compress it.

Does the Gantt chart need macros?

No. It uses conditional formatting only, so it opens without security warnings and also works in Google Sheets.
