ISO 9001:2026 Management Review Template: Minutes, Input Tracker and Slides
Short answer: a management review template gives top management the same structure every time: each input listed in ISO 9001:2026 clause 9.3.2 as an agenda item, and the outputs in 9.3.3 recorded as decisions and actions. Our pack has a Word agenda and minutes template, an Excel input tracker with an action log, and a 15-slide PowerPoint deck. $39, instant download.
See the Management Review Pack, or read our guide to the 2026 agenda and inputs.
Checked line by line against the published ISO 9001:2026 (version 1.1, October 2026).
Why management reviews fail audits
Most findings are not about missing meetings. They are about missing evidence: an input that was never discussed, decisions with no owner, or actions from the last review that quietly disappeared. A template fixes that by forcing every input onto the agenda and carrying open actions forward.
What is in the pack
| Part | What it does |
|---|---|
| Agenda and minutes (Word) | Each 9.3.2 input (a to h, with item d split into its seven parts) as a numbered item, plus the 9.3.3 results captured as decisions and actions. Optional items for planned changes, quality culture and transition status. |
| Input tracker (Excel) | Who supplies each input, data source, due date and status, plus a rolling action log with overdue flags. |
| Review deck (PowerPoint) | 15 slides with charts for objectives, customer satisfaction, nonconformities, audit results, supplier performance, risks, opportunities and resources. |
| Transition slide | For reporting ISO 9001:2026 progress, including quality culture and ethical behavior. This is our addition, not a 9.3.2 input. |
How to run the review with it
- Send the input tracker to contributors about four weeks before the meeting.
- Drop their data into the deck's charts.
- Present from the deck and write decisions straight into the minutes.
- Carry open actions into the log and review them first next time.
What to add for the 2026 transition
During the transition, use the optional items to report progress against your transition plan, the status of updated risks and opportunities, and how leadership is supporting quality culture and ethical behavior. Your certification body will usually expect to see at least one management review that covers the 2026 changes before the transition audit.
Pack alone or in the toolkit?
The pack works on its own. If you are running the whole transition, the Transition Toolkit ($199) includes it alongside the gap analysis, internal audit checklist and risk register that feed the review. For a first certification, the Complete QMS Kit includes it plus a management review procedure.
Important limits
The pack summarizes requirements in our own words and does not reproduce ISO 9001. Use it with your licensed copy of the standard.
Frequently asked questions
Does the template cover every 9.3.2 input?
Yes. Each input from a to h is a numbered agenda item, with item d split into its seven parts so nothing is missed.
How often should we hold management review?
The standard says planned intervals and leaves the frequency to you. Many small companies hold one full review a year with shorter quarterly check-ins. Pick what you can sustain and record it.
Can we hold the review online?
Yes. Nothing in ISO 9001 requires an in-person meeting. Keep the minutes, attendance and decisions as you would for a room meeting.
Is quality culture a required review input?
Not as a separate 9.3.2 input. The template adds it as an optional item because many companies use management review to show leadership's commitment under 5.1.1.
What formats are included?
Word for the agenda and minutes, Excel for the tracker and action log, and PowerPoint for the deck. All editable.
