What is ISO 9001:2026?
ISO 9001:2026 is the sixth edition of the international standard for quality management systems. It replaced ISO 9001:2015 when it was published in September 2026. It keeps the process approach, PDCA and risk-based thinking, and adds emphasis on quality culture and ethical behaviour, separate handling of risks and opportunities, climate change in context, and stronger planning of changes.
What you will be able to do
- Read the standard with confidence: shall, should, may and can, "as applicable", documented information versus records.
- Explain the logic of a quality management system: the seven quality management principles, the process approach, PDCA, risk-based and opportunity-based thinking.
- Walk through clauses 4 to 10 and say what each one asks of your organisation and what an auditor expects to see.
- Describe what changed in the sixth edition, including quality culture and ethical behaviour, the separation of risks and opportunities, and the strengthened planning of changes.
How the course works
- Watch 15 short video lessons in clause order, with an orientation module first.
- Work through 10 downloadable worksheets with model answers.
- Check your understanding with a short knowledge check after every lesson (you must answer every question correctly to move on, with unlimited retries and every answer explained) and a quiz at the end of every module (70% to pass, unlimited retakes).
- Sit the open-book final examination (Paper A: 50 questions, 60 minutes, 70% to pass; a different Paper B is available if you need a second attempt).
- Receive your certificate, with a unique certificate number, as a PDF.

About your certificate
You receive an ISO Cloud Consulting Certificate of Completion when you complete every lesson, pass every knowledge check and quiz, and pass the final exam. It is a certificate of completion only: it is not an accredited or certified qualification (it is not CQI/IRCA, Exemplar Global or PECB) and it does not certify any organisation. ISO Cloud Consulting is a new company and intends to apply for international recognition of its course certificates before the end of 2027. Today it serves as documented evidence of training and competence under ISO 9001:2026 clause 7.2.

Is the certificate recognised?
It is a Certificate of Completion from ISO Cloud Consulting, not an accredited qualification. Employers and certification bodies usually accept documented training plus demonstrated competence as evidence under clause 7.2; confirm what yours requires.
